Tour begins with our arrival at Jhansi railway station. It is most suitable railway station for visiting Khajuraho and Orchha. Jhansi railway station have many trains connecting Bhopal, Agra and Delhi. On reaching Jhansi railway station, tourist taxi will be waiting for us to proceed for Khajuraho. By evening we will reach Khajuraho. On reaching Khajuraho hotel, just relax for sometime. In this day we will attend evening light and sound show, offered in Western Group of Temples. Khajuraho temples are mainly developed in between 9th to 11th century, during rule of Chandela dynasty. Overnight stay at hotel in Khajuraho.
Begin the day with morning breakfast and later we will proceed for Khajuraho temples sightseeing. As we are going visit temples which is deeply linked with religious sentiments, it is advised to wear sandals in place of shoes as we have to often remove them before entering into almost all the temples. This will be guided temples visit in which we will know information on history, architecture, sculpture art, religions etc of Khajuraho temples. Here we will do plenty of temples photography. We will visit both Western and Eastern group of temples. If required, you may do some shopping to memorize you visit. Later we will drive from Khajuraho to Orchha in north west direction. Here we will attend evening light and sound show, offered at Orchha fort. Overnight at hotel in Orchha.
After breakfast, we will proceed for Orchha monuments sightseeing. These monuments were developed in 16th century during rules of Bundela dynasty. Here we will visit Orchha fort, Jehangir palace, cenotaphs, Raja Ram temple, Laxmi temple etc. It is a very scenic small town, located on the bank of Betwa river where we can do morning walk to cross the river and do best Orchha photography. Later in evening we will take short drive to nearby Jhansi railway station for departure to next destination.
